Becky Foreman, B.S. Executive Coach, Strategy Consultant

I am a professional consultant with over twenty years of experience in executive management, coaching and development in both the corporate and nonprofit world. Throughout my diverse career (from my beginnings as a factory line worker to my most recent role as a CEO),  I have learned the importance of investing in the ongoing development of high-potential employees. This is what I do best. Drawing on my years of experience I have created a coaching model, which improves underdeveloped skills while also bringing forward hidden strengths and talents. My coaching benefits both employees, who receive the tools they need to excel, and employers, who enjoy the   rewards that come with a highly skilled, motivated and productive workforce.

Jon Gossard, IT Consultant

Jon has nearly 20 years of experience in the information technology (IT) space.  During that span he has worked in a variety of fields including the health care industry, as a consultant to small- and mid-sized businesses, and in municipal government.  His skill set ranges from the hard technical skills required to administer complex computer networks to the soft skills required to communicate effectively with executive management.  Jon particularly enjoys working in a team environment to design solutions that leverage IT to bring true value to an organization.

The Levy Launch

The Levy Launch is a center providing organizations with management and strategy consultation to improve organizational performance through systematic analysis of existing organizational processes and developing specific plans for improvement.  We understand the multidisciplinary nature of organizational behavior and how it reflects employee attitudes, values, capabilities and their learning capacities.  For your organization to function optimally, management is tasked with creating outstanding work teams and departments that can effectively respond to your customer's varied needs in domestic and global markets.  Managers must be skilled at coordinating work efforts through designing structures that sustain stable relationships and processes.  The creation of meaningful structures enables organizations to become goal oriented and purposeful.  Ideally, uncertainty in performance and goal achievement is reduced when stable structures and processes guide how work is accomplished.  In addition, structural decisions will more likely reflect an organization's values and ethics.

Our team of consultants has over 70 years of combined experience, and we will initiate and guide change processes, design systems and structures to support and manage change and implement technology.  We offer corporate coaching, corporate training and corporate education.   Our team of consultants will attentively listen to challenges your organization is encountering and recommend interventions to improve performance.  Our goal is to transform your organization from its current functioning to optimal performance.  We are a team of four specialists committed to effectively listening to your needs and designing interventions to systematically transform operations.  We believe that developing systems to maximize effective communication, decision making and adopting practices that tap the full range of employee motivation will enhance performance and increase job satisfaction at all levels of the organization. The guiding principle we operate with is that organizations will achieve their organizational and performance goals to the extent that its structures capitalize on employee strengths, values, desires and expectations.

The center’s corporate development workshops include team building, leadership training and increasing managerial effectiveness.  In addition, we offer self-improvement workshops.  Organizations investing and making a commitment to offer their employees personal development workshops attract more qualified workers, improve morale, enhance job satisfaction, develop competencies and create inclusive work environments. In addition, corporations maximizing on opportunities to provide their employees with self-improvement workshops convey a sincere commitment to develop and empower their employees to achieve their fullest potential in their personal and career pursuits.

Recent Developments for The Launch

In February The Levy Launch signed a two year contract with the Orange County Sheriff Department to provide their officers with training on how to effectively interact with the mentally ill they encounter in the community.  Charlie and I will be conducting one four hour training a month through December, 2014 at the Sheriff departments Tustin Training Facility.  Andy Knight, a resident from Founders House of Hope is on our team, presenting on the challenges of living with Schizophrenia to police officers.  We are very pleased providing this worthwhile, invaluable training to our law enforcement personnel.

Elijah will be going to Juneau, Alaska in June to present to The National Alliance of the Mentally Ill.

I will be presenting a workshop in Juneau, Alaska to mental health professionals and members of the National Alliance of the Mentally Ill on June 25, 2013.  My friend, Rabbi Dov Gartenberg relocated to Juneau a couple of years ago and was recently hired as the Executive Director of the National Alliance of the Mentally Ill in Juneau. We were exploring the possibility of me offering a workshop on the healing and therapeutic qualities of creative writing and poetry for the mentally ill.
